About us

The shops were already there. We just put them online.

Every neighbourhood in India already has its shops sorted out. There is a kirana that knows your household runs through two kilos of atta a week. A chemist who will open the shutter at ten at night if it is urgent. A dairy that has your standing milk order and has never once needed reminding. These are not businesses waiting to be disrupted. They work.

What they do not have is a way to be found, browsed and ordered from on a phone — and the platforms that offered them one asked for a great deal in return. A commission on every order. The customer’s phone number and address, kept on the platform’s side. The payment routed through somebody else, settled a week later. A shop that signs up ends up renting access to its own regulars.

MyMetBiz is the version where the shop keeps all of it.

How it works

  1. You find the shop

Browse by trade or search for what you actually need — atta, paracetamol, milk — across every shop near you. Distances and opening hours are real, and come from the shop.

  2. You place the order

You order from that shop, not from us. It lands on the shopkeeper’s phone the way a WhatsApp order does, except it arrives itemised, priced and already totalled.

  3. They pack it and bring it

The same person who has been packing your order for years packs this one. No picker, no dark store, no third-party rider who has never been to your building.

  4. You pay them directly

Cash, UPI, or on the khata like always. The money goes from you to the shop. It does not pass through us, and we do not take a cut of it.

What we charge the shop

Nothing per order. There is no commission on a sale made through MyMetBiz, which is why you will not find a shop here quietly pricing things higher than the board outside to cover it. It is the one number on our homepage that is about us rather than about the shops, and it is zero on purpose.

Where we are

New Delhi, and only New Delhi for now. We would rather have every shop in a few neighbourhoods than a scattering across twenty cities — a marketplace that cannot fill your basket is not useful to you, however many pins are on its map.
