What does it cost?

There is no commission on orders. You are not charged a percentage of a sale made through MyMetBiz, so you do not have to mark anything up to cover it.

Who takes the payment?

You do. Cash, UPI or khata, settled between you and the customer exactly as it is now. The money does not route through us, so there is nothing to wait a week for.

Whose customer is it?

Yours. You get the order with the customer’s name and address on it. We are not sitting between you and the people who already shop with you.

Do I have to photograph every product?

No. You can start with the names and prices of what you stock, and the catalogue already carries photos for common packaged goods. You can also point your camera at a supplier’s bill and let it read the items off.

What if I am shut, or run out of something?

Set your opening hours once and the shop shows as closed outside them. Mark an item out of stock and it stops being orderable until you say otherwise.

Who delivers?

You do, the way you already do — or the customer collects, if that is how your shop works. There is no rider fleet in the middle deciding how your order gets there.
